When Arsenal boss completed the signing of Sead Kolasinac from Schalke 04 , he made his intentions for the Bosnian very clear.
Kolasinac was hugely impressive in the Bundesliga last term, even making the 'Team of the Season', but German fans will tell you his greatest asset is his strength.
Whether it's bombing down the left channel or defending, the muscular 24-year-old isn't afraid to throw his weight around.
"He’s very compact as a player, very strong and determined in the challenges," Wenger said. "He's good in the air as well, so overall I believe he has all the attributes to adapt to English football.
"The game here is very demanding physically on the commitment front and he has the ingredients to adapt to that.
"What he will give us is the fact that he's a player who can give assists, who can go forward, who can contribute good crosses. I think he can contribute a lot to help us to be more dangerous going forward."
Kolasinac has shown glimpses of his ability in pre-season for Arsenal, but it was against Benfica in the Emirates Cup where he really came to life.
Arsenal went 1-0 behind at the Emirates Stadium but in the 24th minute, Kolasinac battled his way past two defenders before providing a lovely chipped assist for Theo Walcott. Check it out.
